The product systems listed above are for guideline purposes. Consult Atlas for product system verification based on specific project operating conditions.
Product Systems listed above are assumed for new construction or facility shut down conditions when the installation temperature is above 60°F (15°C). For products to be installed at temperatures below 60°F (15°C) refer to the alternate LT (Low Temperature) formulation and or installation temperature table at the end of this section.
In general the operating conditions and concerns of these facilities are:
-
Floors are always wet – subjected to frequent spills and wash downs
-
Ambient air temperatures are cool, usually between 40°F (4°C) and 50°F (10°C)
-
Sanitization is a high priority to reduce potential of bacterial contamination
-
Requires an aesthetic appearance and easy to clean / sanitize floor system
-
Industry trends for Furnane floors are tile setters method of installation with 1/4” wide grout joints. The complimentary mortar using the brick layers method with 1/8” wide mortar joints offers the identical corrosion resistant protection.
